Many professionals are considering fundamental changes in their careers, industries, locations, or some combination. Today’s guest has lived this herself, and is now helping others who might do likewise. Ashley Phillips was a high-school teacher for seven years. She wanted out. Ashley built a new career in corporate America, rising from an entry-level position to being a leader in Learning & Development and Revenue Enablement (which is where I met her during a client engagement).
Now she is also the author of a new book, “The Teacher’s Guide to Changing Careers.” There are lessons for any professional who is changing course, changing their personal message, and even changing their professional identity.
